Supply-side platform PubMatic announced today that it has acquired ReviNet, an advertising optimization technology company for publishers.
The deal brings 57 brand name publishers, including The Boston Herald and The Christian Science Monitor, into PubMatic’s fold through their preexisting partnerships with ReviNet. The acquisition will bring real-time bidding and advanced audience targeting solutions to publishers serving Pubmatic’s base of 218 million unique users, and over 400 million globally.
“Online advertising is evolving rapidly and today’s publishers need an expansive sell-side platform that will enable them to become the publishers of tomorrow, so joining forces with PubMatic is a natural fit,” said Michael Moreau, co-founder and COO of ReviNet.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
