Twitter raised its character limit on direct messages from 140 characters to 10,000. That’s a lot of DMs to slide into. You won’t see Vanity Fair DM’ing Tinder, though. The Condé Nast mag ran an article blaming the app for ruining dating. Tinder responded by acting like a crazy jilted ex on Twitter. Meanwhile, live streaming app Periscope hit a milestone this week, announcing that it now has 10 million active users. Lastly, Google created a new parent company Alphabet. But if you want to actually learn the alphabet, you have to watch Sesame Street on HBO now.
