We’re pleased to welcome Bryan Barletta as the newest member of the DIGIDAY editorial team. Bryan will serve as our mobile editor, charged with leading all our content pertaining to mobile media and marketing.
Bryan spent nearly two years at Medialets, a mobile rich media ad platform, where he was a developer relations manager. He was involved with developers, publishers, and the major mobile platforms. Bryan’s also a writer. He’s written for TechCrunch and served as editor of MediaBistro’s MobileApps Today and MobileDevices Today. He also reviewed mobile apps for AppVee and served as editor in chief of 148Apps.
He’s also written three articles for DIGIDAY over the past few weeks, looking at the hurdles to augmented reality taking off, arguing against the app gold rush, and explaining near-field communication. He has an Explainer today that unpacks what HTML5 is and why it matters.
Bryan’s passionate about mobile. He’s led mobile developer Meetups and can explain in great detail the nuances of the business. His hands-on experience in mobile media is ideal for writing from an authoritative perspective on the many opportunities and challenges for the digital media world as it moves from the desktop to mobile.
