The GIF is suddenly everywhere. Now brands are adopting the GIF in its latest incarnation: Vine.

Vine is Twitter’s short-clip-sharing app that creates bits of video very much like a GIF. A short six-second clip is played on loop. It’s another fun way that brands can play around with visuals and be on top of new apps and trends. Even though it was only released in late January, it has drawn the attention of top marketers.
