Finalists have been chosen for the Digiday Mobi Awards, Digiday’s recognition of overall achievement and breakthrough innovation in mobile media, marketing and advertising in the past calendar year. In each of the 13 categories, three to five finalists were recognized as standouts. Learn more about the judges and judging criteria here.
MRY had a big year in their partnerships with Sony and Coca-Cola, particularly with the “Mix On” campaign with Coca-Cola, a finalist in both “Best Mobile/Social Integrated Campaign” and “Best iPad/Tablet Advertising Campaign.” R/GA was recognized in two categories for its work with three brands: Ray-ban, Johnson & Johnson, and Nike.
Finalists for the “Best Mobile Website” are Carnival Corporation’s (in partnership with Bayshore Solutions), Fandango’s mobile site, Gucci’s (in partnership with Huge), Pret A Manger (with Essence Digital), and NIKEiD’s mobile site (R/GA). The “Best Mobile App for Editorial Content” finalists are The Boston Globe’s iPhone app, USA TODAY’s iPad app, and Comedy Central working with Roundarch Isobar on a stand-up app.
