We Are Social leads the first Digiday Content Marketing Awards Europe with five nominations

Please note, for 2018 we have consolidated our European awards into two programs. The Content Marketing Awards Europe are no longer a separate program anymore, but instead the categories can be found as a part of the Digiday Marketing & Advertising Awards Europe.

Social media agency We Are Social leads the first Digiday Content Marketing Awards Europe with five nominations. The agency is up for Best Use of Video and Best Brand/Influencer Collaboration for its work for client Adidas, which covered soccer player Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United. It’s also nominated for Most Innovative Use of Content and Best Use of Social for harnessing dark social — content sharing through private channels — to reach and create a community of passionate young soccer fans it dubbed “Tango Squad.” The agency’s campaign for YouTube, “Made for You,” is up for Best Use of Native Advertising/Sponsored Content.

The Digiday Content Marketing Awards Europe recognize the content that connects brands to audiences across channels, including mobile, social, video and more, targeted specifically to European audiences.

FT², the in-house content studio of the Financial Times, has four nominations. It’s in the running for Best Use of Native Advertising/Sponsored Content, Best Branded Content Site – B2B, Best Branded Content Series and Best Use of Video. G+J Media, the Dutch publisher of titles such as Vogue Nederland, Glamour NL and National Geographic, is also up for four nominations, including Best Agency/Client Collaboration, Best Brand/Influencer Collaboration and Best Brand Publication for #nsfavourites, its campaign for Dutch National Railways. It is also a finalist in the same category for Msafiri magazine, the in-flight magazine of Kenya Airways.
